We love our Brides, they're relaxed, modern and easygoing, but please make sure you are fully aware of all T&C's and make sure you have wedding insurance

By placing an order with Halo & Wren Bridal Ltd., you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions of Sale. We recommend you read this document carefully and retain a copy for your records.

For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions, 'you' refers to the customer, and ‘Halo & Wren’, ‘H&W’', we', 'us', or 'our' refers to Halo & Wren Bridal Ltd. These Terms & Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under English law.

ALTERATIONS

Please note that the cost of alterations is not included in the price of the gown unless explicitly stated at the time of purchase. Alterations are to be carried out by an independent seamstress of your choosing. While we can provide a list of seamstresses, you are not obligated to use them. Halo & Wren is not responsible for the quality or outcome of any alteration work undertaken by third-party seamstresses.

As a guide, the average cost of alterations ranges from £285 to £450. In some areas, such as London, this can increase to £600–£800.

Your measurements have been taken, and the gown will be ordered based on the measurements and sizes you have agreed upon. Halo & Wren cannot be held responsible for discrepancies once the gown has arrived, as alterations are a normal part of the fitting process. Please be aware that all brides will require some level of alteration, regardless of weight changes.

Should you experience significant weight loss (e.g. two to three dress sizes), more extensive alterations may be necessary, which could incur additional costs.

CANCELLATIONS

All gowns purchased from Halo & Wren are made to order. Once a deposit has been paid, your purchase is considered final, and there is no cooling-off period. Your gown will be ordered from the designer shortly after you place your order with us, and we do not accept cancellations under any circumstances. This does not affect your right to a remedy in cases where the product is faulty or not as described under UK consumer law.

Please note that all outstanding balances must be settled in accordance with your payment agreement. As each gown is made specifically for you, it cannot be returned for a refund or exchange, and all sales are final.

Due to the bespoke nature of our gowns, we are unable to offer resale options to any other customer. Therefore, we cannot accept returns, even in exceptional situations such as pandemics, wedding cancellations, or a change of mind.

We cannot be held responsible for changes in body size, shape, or weight after your order has been placed. Additionally, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds if you request changes to your order that cannot be fulfilled.

MATERIALS

Please be aware that fabric is produced in rolls, and slight colour variations may occur. Halo & Wren cannot be held responsible for minor differences in colour between the fabric of your gown and the sample shown in-store. Colour variations between stock samples and made-to-order gowns are to be expected.

BEADING & EMBROIDERY

Due to the handcrafted nature of gowns, the placement and quantity of beading and embroidery may vary slightly from the sample dress. Variations are part of the handmade nature of gowns and cannot be considered defects.

LACE PLACEMENT AND DRAPING

The placement of lace and other intricate details will vary depending on the size of the gown. Additionally, certain fabrics such as crepe and satin may contain minor imperfections or variations in the weave due to their delicate, handmade nature. These are inherent to the production process and beyond the control of Halo & Wren and the gown designer.

SHIPPING DATES

Please note that all shipping dates provided by Halo & Wren are approximate. As our gowns are handmade, the production process cannot be rushed to ensure the highest quality of craftsmanship. Designers reserve the right to adjust shipping dates based on their production schedule, and we ask for your understanding in allowing sufficient time for your gown to be completed to perfection.

There may also be unforeseen transit delays outside of Halo & Wren's control. In such cases, we will do our best to keep you informed, but we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by external factors such as shipping carriers.

Our designers also reserve the right to prioritise gown shipments based on your wedding date, rather than specific production timelines. The final shipping schedule is determined by the designer.

SAMPLE DRESSES

All sample sale dresses are sold as seen and must be paid for in full at the time of purchase. Please note that sample sale dresses are non-returnable and non-refundable once they have been taken off the premises.

We strongly recommend that you inspect the sample dress thoroughly before purchase, as no alterations or repairs will be made by Halo & Wren after the sale.

ACCESSORIES

All accessories must be paid for in full at the time of order.

Return Policy for Accessories:

  • Made-to-order accessories: These items cannot be returned or exchanged, as they are customised specifically for you.

  • Stock accessories: Items purchased from stock can be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase, provided they are returned in their original, unused, and saleable condition. Refunds or exchanges will not be issued for items that show signs of wear or damage.

WEAR & TEAR

At Halo & Wren, we are committed to providing goods of the highest quality, and all items will be supplied in a condition that meets merchantable standards. However, we are not responsible for any wear and tear, damage, or depletion of goods that occurs through normal use after purchase. As such, we are not obligated to offer replacements, repairs, or refunds for wear and tear.

Please note that if a gown, veil, or accessory is tried on during collection and becomes soiled (e.g., due to dirt, makeup transfer, or other damage), Halo & Wren will not be held responsible for any necessary cleaning or repairs.

READY-TO-WEAR GOWNS

Your gown will be ordered based on the largest measurement taken from your body. For example, if your hips are the largest measurement, the gown will be ordered in the size that accommodates that area according to the designer's size chart. We use your measurements to plot the appropriate size on the designer's chart.

Please remember that bridal gown sizes often run smaller than typical high street sizing. The size on the label is just a number and does not define you. Once alterations are made, the gown will be tailored to fit your body perfectly, making the initial size irrelevant.

Whether you order a custom, ready-to-wear, or split-size gown, all brides will require some level of alterations to achieve the ideal fit.

SPLIT SIZING

Some designers offer a service called split sizing for an additional fee, which is charged directly by the designer. Split sizing allows different areas of the gown to be made in different sizes, providing a closer fit based on your individual measurements.

For example, if your bust measures as a size 8, your waist as a size 10, and your hips as a size 12 on the designer's size chart, a split size gown can be ordered to accommodate these differences. This option may reduce the amount of alteration required, but please note that every bride will still need some level of alterations, as bodies can change.

Split sizing is recommended for brides whose measurements span multiple sizes. Your Halo & Wren stylist will discuss whether this option is suitable for you after reviewing your measurements.

ADDITIONAL FEES

Rush Fees: If your gown is ordered with a shorter lead time, your stylist will discuss the applicable rush fees. The designer charges this fee to prioritise your gown in the production schedule. Please note that the delivery date remains approximate even with a rush order.

For rush orders, gowns typically arrive between 8 to 12 weeks from the order date.

STORAGE

Once you receive your 'Gown Arrived' email, you must arrange to collect your gown promptly.

Storage Fees: If your gown is not collected within a reasonable timeframe, a storage fee of £30 per calendar month (PCM) will be charged and added to your account, payable upon collection. Please note that Halo & Wren has limited storage capacity and cannot hold gowns for extended periods.

Ownership of the Gown: Gowns that have not been paid for in full remain the property of Halo & Wren, regardless of any deposit paid. Ownership of the gown will only transfer to you once full payment has been received and the gown has been collected. If a gown remains uncollected for more than six months after the original wedding date, Halo & Wren reserves the right to take ownership of the gown and any payments made may be forfeited.

VEIL/ACCESSORY STORAGE

Halo & Wren does not store veils or any other accessories. Once purchased from stock, these items must be taken home immediately.

For made-to-order items, such as veils and overskirts, you will be contacted upon their arrival. You will then have the option to either collect the item within seven days or have it posted to you free of charge.

Return Policy for Accessories:

  • Made-to-order items: All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges for made-to-order items.

  • Stock items: Items purchased from stock can be returned within 14 days, provided they are in their original condition with the packaging intact.

  • Online purchases: Stock items purchased through our website must be returned within 30 days of the order date in the same condition as described above.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

In the event of a disagreement, we will attempt to resolve the matter informally, but if necessary, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
